Emily Dasilva-Hunter provides non-medical doula services, including emotional, physical, and informational support during pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum period.
I do not provide medical care, diagnosis, or treatment.

4. Booking & Client Agreements
Services are typically booked through consultations and confirmed via written agreement
I may use third-party tools such as Doulado to manage scheduling, forms, and client records
A separate client contract is required before services begin
5. Fees & Payments
A non-refundable retainer or deposit may be required to secure your booking
Remaining balances must be paid according to the terms outlined in your client agreement
Failure to complete payment may result in cancellation of services
6. Cancellation & Refund Policy
Retainers/deposits are non-refundable
Cancellations must be made in writing
Refunds (if any) are subject to the terms outlined in your individual client agreement
In the unlikely event that Emily Dasilva-Hunter cannot provide services, reasonable efforts will be made to arrange a backup doula or provide a refund
7. Client Responsibility
By engaging services, you acknowledge that:
You are responsible for your own healthcare decisions
You will seek medical advice from a licensed provider when needed
Doula services are complementary and not a replacement for medical care
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Emily Dasilva-Hunter is not liable for:
Medical outcomes or complications
Decisions made by you or your healthcare providers
Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of this website or services
9. Use of Website
You agree to use this website for lawful purposes only. You may not:
Misuse or interfere with the website
